Platform Feature Guide

How to use Poimne's member features. Some services require sign-in, enrollment, or additional approval. Availability and limits are explained below.

Payment features are still being tested. This guide and the homepage help assistant use the same public information. The guide assistant cannot look up private records. A temporary support transcript is shared only with its member and assigned authorized agent. Last reviewed: September 23, 2026.

Workspace tiers: Growth $29/month, Flock $199/month, Business $49/month

Regular personal membership is free. Growth is $29/month for up to 750 profiles; Flock is $199/month with unlimited profiles; Business is $49/month for up to 25 staff accounts, including the business administrator. Business customers and catalog visitors do not count toward that staff limit. All three include staff hiring and employee onboarding tools. Applications require Administration approval. Payment details and recurring-payment consent are required before approved workspace access opens and the 14-day trial begins. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Advertising placements and custom website development are separate services. Review the pricing page for full features and terms.

Community Hymnal: spiritual songs and carols

Listen to 44 sung Christian hymns and carols in the Community Hymnal. Search by title or choose Traditional hymns, Family hymns, or Christmas & Advent. Select a recording and press Play. Continuous playback advances through the displayed list; Loop repeats it. Recordings stream from the publisher, so an internet connection and available audio source are needed. Recording credits are included in the player.

Video Studio tools

Import media in Video Studio and add it to the timeline. Select a clip to edit its available properties. Use the playhead to choose a position for editing or recording. The Audio panel supports microphone voiceover recording; browser microphone permission is required. Typed scripts do not yet generate downloadable speech. Save project versions and download a backup: browser-stored projects are not a cloud backup and may be lost if browser storage is cleared. The guide cannot inspect your media or make edits for you.

Community Live Stream: Chat and DM rules

Community Live Stream has two different areas. Chat is a shared community conversation: other connected viewers can receive what you send. Do not post passwords, financial details, private care information, or another person's personal information there. Respect members and avoid harassment, impersonation, and spam. The current Chat panel holds up to 80 recent messages in browser memory; reloading or closing its component clears that local view. This is not a guarantee that other viewers have not copied messages. DMs use saved, participant-restricted conversations instead of the shared Chat channel. DM history remains across visits and devices. Delete conversation hides prior messages from your own inbox only; the other member keeps their copy. New messages can start a new visible conversation. Block stops new messages in both directions until unblocked. DMs are not end-to-end encrypted, and saved status is not a read receipt. The separate help/support chat remains temporary under its own End Chat policy. The help assistant explains these rules but cannot read or disclose member conversations.

Member direct messages

In Community Live Stream, tap another member name in Chat, then use DMs. DMs are saved across visits and devices. Only the two participants have access through the app; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Delete conversation hides existing messages from your inbox only, not the other person's copy. New messages can start a new visible conversation. Block stops new messages in both directions. Messages show saved status, not proof that the recipient has read them. Older messages can be loaded with Load earlier messages. Support chat remains temporary and separate.

Little Lambs: preschool activities with a grown-up

Little Lambs is in NextGen Hub, with a homepage link. It offers six original illustrated read-together activities for ages 3–5: Bible Stories, Sing & Learn spoken rhymes, Little Helpers, and Watch & Do. A parent or caregiver stays with the child, reads aloud, and advances each page. The Shepherd Cares is an original browser-animated story lasting about three minutes, with twelve scenes and short response pauses. Duration varies with the device voice. It has Play, Pause, Start over, replay, and visible captions. Press Play to start; scenes then advance within this episode. Narration uses a local English device voice when available; otherwise it offers timed captions. Resume repeats the current scene. Closing or leaving the page stops playback. The story respects reduced-motion preferences and has a still-illustrations option. There is no recorded narration track or external player, and no next episode starts automatically. There is no autoplay, advertising, Chat, DMs, or child account within this activity area. Grown-ups can return to NextGen; the wider site is outside this area. The welcome screen is guidance, not a parental authentication lock.

Tour Poimne

Tour Poimne is beside How to Use Poimne on the homepage. It opens a 72-second MP4 with synthetic narration and English captions. Press the video Play control. You can pause, seek, use captions, or enter full screen. Closing the window stops playback. Illustrations demonstrate public features and contain no private member activity. A transcript is available.

Support Poimne

Support Poimne is beside Tour Poimne on the homepage. Voluntary gifts help maintain the platform and provide care for the community, the sheep we serve. Giving is optional and separate from marketplace purchases, advertising, and paid ministry or business plans. Review the amount and giving frequency before completing a gift.

Watch & Weather: news, forecasts, and discussion

Watch & Weather is in the scrolling middle homepage feed. Open the CBN News player, then press Play. Closing the player stops playback; automatic feed motion stays paused until you resume it. External broadcasts may include recordings, commentary, and advertising. Use Open source if playback is unavailable. For U.S. weather, request your location or choose a city; the approximate location goes to the National Weather Service and is not added to your profile or chat. Forecasts and alerts show their check time and may be delayed or unavailable. This is not an emergency notification service. Discuss in Community Chat opens shared Chat with a draft; review it and press Send yourself. Existing drafts are preserved. DMs remain private and separate.

Advertising placements (separate from workspace tiers)

Advertising is separate from workspace subscriptions. Community Feed Ad is $29 for 30 days; Homepage Sponsor is $99 for 30 days. These are proposed Poimne placements, not Google ads or exclusive positions. The period starts only when an eligible ad actually displays. No automatic renewal is offered initially. Current submissions collect no payment and guarantee no views, clicks, or sales. Poimne uses a locally operated AI review service for submitted ad text and supported banners. It processes waiting ads while the service is running; when it is offline, ads remain pending. Ambiguous content remains pending, and destination websites require a separate safety review. A recorded approval or denial queues a notification to the advertiser's verified email; delivery can fail and is not guaranteed. AI review may make mistakes; contact support about a disputed decision. Review approval does not confirm payment, publication, placement availability, or expiration. Advertising checkout and activation remain unavailable. Help chat explains these rules but cannot access campaign records or approve ads.

Marketplace rules and safe local exchanges

Marketplace members must accept the Honor Code and Covenant when listing an item and the applicable terms when purchasing. Describe the item, condition, damage, service, and price accurately; communicate honestly and respectfully, use fair pricing, and avoid fraud or harassment. Businesses, churches, and vendors may arrange shipping for their own sales. All other platform members must follow the non-shipping rule: physical goods are exchanged through in-person pickup; permitted digital materials may be delivered electronically. An individual member does not gain shipping permission merely by belonging to a church or buying from a vendor. Shipping is arranged independently by the seller and its chosen carrier. Poimne is not affiliated with vendor shipping operations and does not act as the carrier, shipping agent, insurer, or fulfillment provider. Sellers are responsible for packaging, shipping charges, dispatch, tracking, delivery communications, returns, and legally required refunds. To the extent permitted by law, Poimne does not accept responsibility for seller-arranged shipping, including delays, loss, damage, or non-delivery. Nothing in this policy excludes obligations or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Before purchase, eligible sellers must disclose shipping charges, dispatch estimates, delivery terms, and return/refund policies and comply with applicable law. Shipping permission does not authorize use of a pickup-only order or pickup PIN as proof of shipment or delivery. Use an appropriate shipping order flow; if one is unavailable, do not collect payment for shipping through the pickup flow. Payment disputes and refunds remain subject to applicable law and payment-provider rules. Arrange in-person exchanges in well-lit, populated public locations; do not invite strangers to a private residence. Inspect the item and agree on its condition before completing the exchange. The selling price and any advertising budget are separate. Read the displayed charges and Terms before agreeing. Payment, escrow, pickup verification, cancellation, refunds, and automatic penalties are not verified as working end to end; do not treat those features as guaranteed protection. This guide summarizes member conduct rules and does not replace the Terms.

Advertising content, budgets, and placement rules

Use accurate descriptions and respectful language. Gambling, betting, adult-industry advertising, fraud, impersonation, threats, and harassment are prohibited. Ordinary adult education and honestly described used-item sales are allowed. Optional destinations must be full HTTPS website URLs, not email addresses. Blank destinations are allowed. Banner uploads accept JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 5 MB; do not upload private information.

Pastor, Staff & Business Administration Guide

Ministry leaders and merchants have different tools and permissions. Read the relevant guidance below. Enrollment does not grant staff authority, and ordinary staff status does not bypass enrollment. Ask the platform owner for any required authorization; help chat cannot change access.

Business eligibility and setup

Read Business Onboarding, create your community account with Vendor / Merchant Account selected, and accept the Marketplace Commerce Policy. Submit your organization application for Administration review. After approval, authorize billing to open your Business workspace and begin the 14-day trial, followed by $49/month. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge. Receiving customer payments requires separate Stripe recipient onboarding and payment-flow approval; workspace enrollment alone does not activate sales. Contact support if your approved access does not appear.

Eligible vendors can open their Business Dashboard from Ministry & Business. Review product titles, stock, prices, images, and local pickup arrangements before saving. Follow the platform no-shipping policy. Check the displayed result and refresh to confirm saved changes. Do not upload confidential business documents to product-image storage. Purchases and payouts still require verification before live use.

Ministry and staff responsibilities

Authorized ministry staff should use only the tools assigned to their role. Community posts and discussion replies are shared spaces, not confidential case notes. Do not promise care follow-up, content approval, or financial processing until the relevant workflow has been confirmed. Never put private member records into the public help chat.

Temporary support chat and End Chat

Quick guide questions are processed in your browser and are not saved. Sign in and choose Start or resume support chat to retain a temporary conversation. Select Request live agent when needed; only an explicitly authorized agent who claims the chat can review and reply. A request does not guarantee an agent is immediately available. Minimize closes the window without ending the chat. End Chat deletes its active database session and messages. After 30 minutes without a message, access expires and scheduled cleanup deletes the records, normally within one additional minute. Database backups follow their separate retention policy. Do not share credentials, payment details, or private care records. Earlier quick-guide questions are not included in the transcript.

Marketplace: list an item or service

Marketplace is where members list items or services for the community to browse. The listing price is the amount requested for the item or service. For example, a Suzuki motorcycle listed at $1,600 has a selling price of $1,600. This is separate from any advertising budget. Use Ad Portal only if you want to promote a business, ministry, event, service, or listing. Marketplace purchases must follow the platform policy requiring local, in-person pickup with no shipping. Purchase and payment flows are still under review: a purchase-initiated message does not prove payment, escrow protection, seller notification, or delivery. Help chat cannot retrieve private orders or financial records.

The 14-day trial begins when approved workspace access opens after payment details and recurring-payment consent are provided. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge.
