Hosting or waiting for a host?
The person starting the meeting must sign in with an account supported by Jitsi. Your Poimne sign-in does not automatically sign you into Jitsi or make you a moderator.
If Jitsi says the meeting has not started, wait for your organizer. If you are organizing it, use Jitsi’s host sign-in option and follow its prompts.
This is a shared external room. People with its direct address may reach it outside Poimne. Hosts should use Jitsi’s available lobby or password controls and admit intended participants.
Phone and connection help
- If a new tab does not appear, allow the browser to open the link and tap the meeting button again.
- Allow microphone or camera access on Jitsi only when you want to use them. You can join with your camera off.
- If sound is missing, check the device volume and the microphone controls inside Jitsi. Headphones can help prevent echo.
- If the connection fails, check your network and reopen the meeting. Jitsi controls service availability and meeting limits.
